Luke completed a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pretoria before joining Deloitte Consulting in Johannesburg as part of the Energy & Resources team, where he worked across business analysis, documentation and data modelling for a broadrange of clients.

He moved into the mining sector in 2021 as Specialist, Data Analysis & Visualisation at Trevali Mining Corporation, acting as product owner for reporting and analytics across three sites and leading a cross-functional team through an ERP rework aligned to enterprise asset management best practice. He then joined Pragma Global as a Business Process Engineer, driving digital transformation initiatives and building analytics tools and dashboards with clients.

Luke went on to lead the Data Intelligence team at Mventech Group as Advisory Lead, delivering digital products and strategic advisory across the mining and industrial sectors, including a technology stream lead role on the Harmony Central Projects Redesign. He later became Technical Lead, Data at Mventech, setting up the group's data platform and defining its data strategy, before launching ConsultApp as General Manager & Product Lead, taking the venture from an internal initiative to a standalone product business.
